About the event
Join us for a hands-on volunteer work party in the Native Plant Nursery at Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah.
Our nursery grows over 130 locally sourced native plant species used to restore damaged ecosystems, support biodiversity, and strengthen habitat throughout the park and beyond. As a volunteer, you’ll work alongside staff and experienced volunteers caring for seedlings, transplanting, organizing plant stock, and supporting seasonal restoration projects.
No experience is needed — we provide tools, guidance, and training. Whether you’re brand new to native plants or already passionate about stewardship, there’s meaningful work for a range of abilities.
This is a welcoming, community-driven space where people come together to care for the land and learn through doing.
